Nobody responded with any info to answer the questions, therefore I'm guessing that they are not "making" money... which means any kind of "profit". That's not good.

Didn't your mom tell you that if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all? Did you follow any of the other advice she gave you? You know...bathing everyday...teeth brushing....clean underwear that kind of stuff. OK I feel a little better now.

I am not panther but my rates are 15% higher than panthers tractors and its 7:30 tuesday.I left monday morning and Ive done 1119 loaded miles and less than 20 deadhead Im still loaded now and have a little over 700 miles to go.if itss got 18 wheels and not rolling your broke

I know you don't like the truth but Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution
I cannot tell something about any other companies because I never worked for them...but if I have something to say I'll say it I'm not afraid of anything and by the way the Driver's Council rules are:

Communication with Fleet – Code of Conduct for Fleet

Problem and Solution based complaints only
Council responsibility limited to issues that impact the entire fleet
Individual issues will be passed to the Dispatch Teams
Communication through Driver Website Portal or through QC message to Dispatch

I can't tell you how much my partner who runs a E unit at panther makes but I do know he paid off a brand new Freightliner Classic XL in 2 years. So he must be doing alright, but then again his wife has a good job (nurse) and their house and vehicles are paid for. So he really doesn't have alot of at home expense. He and his wife are the type of people who grew up kinda poor and consider living with what most consider the bare nessicities as a decent lifestyle. He is the kind who saves and saves some more in case something bad happens.

First Amendment:

Hmmm....It sure looks as if this amendment really has to do with the Church, press and the general public being able to make its grievances against the government known without fear of retribution or prosecution. It really doesn't include anything about a protected right to say whatever you want about an individual or organization. Just a thought.

Why not just leave well enough alone? I mean you've already said you left Panther for greener pastures at LEAM. So why continue to bad mouth Panther? Then you say Leo got you fired? Prove it. He doesn't seem like that type of guy. The way you were ranting about the company saying you've been in Detroit for 12 days it wasn't very hard for them to narrow down who you were. Then again it's not that hard to find out what someone's name is anyway. It doesn't take an Einstein to figure it out. The carriers read this site. Then you want to bad mouth the USA. That makes me sick. No one forced you to come here, and no one is forcing you to stay. If your family is much better off in Europe why won't they purchase you a ticket to go back and join them? I'm sorry for getting off topic.

Well I don't know about others but I don't mind putting numbers up on the board here. This is a tractor with Panther it run about half this year as a team the rest has been solo:

Actual Pay per hub Mile: $1.53 average

Fuel Cost: $59,726
Driver Cost: $75,258
All Truck Expences: $42,981
Total Cost To Opperate Year to Date: $167,965
Profit Year to Date: $21,938

Not the best year but not really to bad for as slow as things have been this year.

If someone owned and operated that truck couldn't they combine the most of the driver cost as well as the year end profit into profit?

Yes if you owned and drove the truck all you would have as drivers cost would be your co-drivers cost. On this truck I own it I do not drive it.

OMG there are numbers... real numbers..... what do we do? there are numbers... are we supposed to even talk about numbers now?.... I don't know what to make they add up and make ... sense. :+

I think being in a tractor is the best you can get right now, most tractors can take everything my straight truck can take and more. And today if I had 53 feet of space, I would have taken a bunch of stuff on it moving but alas I am only a straight truck with 14 feet never to grow anymore.

While im not going to post my numbers lets face it anyone could post anything they want. All i can tell you is even though its been soft this year I am still doing good and it's been picking up thank god. You have to keep in the zone Panther is working on a plan that will increase your miles if you go to the drivers web site and ask i will be glad to talk to you about it there. No i will not talk about it here because its in the works and isnt finnished yet but i think you will be happy to learn what it is.
