I removed mine myself, drove it to Green and had them sign for it. I was not going to mess around with it. If they didn't like it, well it does not say anything in my contract on what method is used to remove it, it only says it has to be returned.

I just ound out I have to pay for a QC repair I did 3 mths ago in Chicago they change it and I have to pay for

Well why?

If there is a work order then they should foot the bill unless you were negligent, like trying to go through a drive through with a straight truck.

Whats prolly NOT being said is the keyboard was prolly all messed up because of all the spilt coffee and crap!! And now he's playing innocent and making P2 look bad...but he doesn't know enough about them(QC) to blame another part. Either that or he stepped on the keyboard crawling to the back to snooze...

I seen a driver take a window out when they sent him a mini in Detroit. Should have seen the look on the guys wife's face.

On a serious note, if a QC vendor worked on the unit, you will have a PO# from Panther for the authorization. If you had repairs completed without one, then you pay since you authorized the work.
If it was authorized by Panther, I think I would be finding that PO#.

If it were a roof unit it would take one heck of a bump to break it....I'd still be driver error....

What's wrong with you people..My QC was not working and I went to a shop in Chicago..PII gave the authorization and they change the unit and now I have to pay..they told me after I quit and after 5 mths I don't understand what I did wrong? My unit was 11161 I'm not scared and I don't wanna see Panther sign on my truck never..I'm happy with TriState they are the only company who respect an O/O ..By the way at orientation they had 32 Panther units and if you ask any Panther driver if he's happy with them you'll get only negative answers ...that's not a way to to business to rip off honest people
Good luck at Panther and see you soon out of business

Let's keep it civil and clean. No profanities. Thanks.

The nice thing about throwing the keyboard is the fact that you don't even need to get up in order to throw it again, just pull on the cord.

Also makes a mighty fine wheel chock for a van.

And a nice foot rest too!

The angle of the keyboard helps to stretch the muscles and the keytops massage the bottom of your foot. :D

I will need to pull the contract out and reread it. But if I remember right the escrow is "trailer escrow" not for the QC since you sign a promissory note to pay $2000.00 if you don't return it. So if they kept your escrow money there must be another reason. By my reading if the contract it is for damage to their trailer.I could be wrong that did happen once before.
