Fact: the fleet owner he claims to have received preferential treatment while driving for he was with less than 2 months. If it was such a gravy train Floyd, I mean Axis, why did you get off? Blow some more smoke if you feel the need. Facts make a great fan for clearing the air.
I find it amazing as well that the ones that were on the "gravy train" jumped off. They were making tons of money but the conscience couldn't take it.
If that is true, I have some oceanfront property in Vegas I would like to sell you.
To my knowledge there are no dispatchers that own trucks. When I was there on many occassions, I didn't see it either. They (dispatchers) don't have the time to do this. This is why there is a seperate customer service dept, and backhaul dept. Additionally, and seldom mentioned, trucks are dispatched from three locations, not one.
Gee, maybe they built a secret dispatch office in the basement of the new office building. Then again, maybe they have secret phone lines between offices for "their own trucks".
The fact remains, no dispatchers own trucks, and if they did, they couldn't dispatch them all the time anyway.
Some might say I have my head in the sand. Maybe, but not likely.
I will meet halfway and say, who are these phantom dispatchers that no one seems to know or can identify?
Even more so for the ones that don't currently work there.
Oh I forgot, it is a secret.
