Do you ever have anything positive to say?????? Venting is a good avenue to relieve stress at times...but does each post have to negative? Tired of sitting? Find another career,not carrier. Expedite = sitting,it goes hand in hand. Sorry to go off topic but this is the third post in a row I have seen where he has nothing constructive to say other than to bash a carrier no matter the thread topic.

Okay I couldn't stand it any longer, I was very amused by the earlier comment regarding someone's post on this thread stating matter of factly that "he never worked for P-2 so he doesn't know anything about them".
Which is almost like saying your not a doctor so you dont know what your kidneys look like or some other equally useless comment. I personally never worked for P-2 but I do know alot about them, I know who their attorneys are ( same ones that represent Roadway express). I have been told time and time and yet time again that this web site has no direct link to the expediting companies and that email addresses arent given out........yet? the first negative comment I personally made regarding my pathetic experience in Seville OH. I received several threatening emails that were traced to the Akron area.
My personal favorite was the certified letter from the lawyers telling me they were going to sue me into oblivion for causing the earth to stop rotating or whatever and why? (The very same letter that was forwarded to Dateline Magazine) for going to Seville with a pile of cash to buy a truck that didn't exist? and then laughing in their face when they tried to kiss my butt.
I have since learned and now give regular seminars to people ( wanting to go to driving schools) that have no experience with driving and try to get them into something else or other trades...good for your over populated companies.

To my knowledge, EO is not distributing email addresses of its members to any other sources.
With regards to Panther, it likely was a negative experience if you were attempting to buy a truck from them, since they are not a dealer or in the business of selling trucks.

i drive a sprinter, and if you are not making money from panther, then its time you took a look at yourself in the mirror, i average 2000 miles a week and thats a average, no i dont accept everything that comes my way...position yourself where you will be needed, not where the qc tells you to position at....do a search and go where the odds are....many times i have been 150 miles from a board, pulled into a truck stop or rest area, and have gotten great loads close bye..position,position,position, and if you still cant make money...go work at mcdonalds
First off, I wasnt on the CB doing any talking. And I dont think my views are cartoonish its called forming an opion when you are given facts by many unsatisfied customers/contractors. How many times would someone have to tell you that the food at a certain location made them sick as a dog before you made sure you steered clear of the place. All I am stating is facts/opions that were posted by drivers from Panther II. I think if you read the post about the threating emails above I guess he too is just lying about what happened?? I dont give a crap if Expeditersonline and Panther sleep together or not, Ill keep posting my opions because that is what forums are for.

Leo, with all due respect. I dont have my shorts in a knot, I was listening to drivers say how they were ripped off by a certain company and not just one or two either. I was getting upset because I was attacked because I decided to heed the word of this companies drivers and not drive for them. And as far as working for a company for several years before I decide they are good or bad???? You dont have to shoot me with a gun to figure out it will hurt! Ill take your word for it.

We run as a team for PII, and we think they do us just fine. Have they always paid the amount that I think I should get, no. But they are correct 95% of the time and the times they don't agree it does not amount to enough to argue over. ( my cell phone minutes cost more than the pay difference, most of the time. )
Could they do things better, Yes, me too. Do they have some stupid policys (sp.) YES they do. What company does not have them?

OK Jim, sounds good to me. Im glad you and the little lady are doing ok with them. I wasnt trying to bash any drivers in this whole thing I was just really upset when guys started telling me about the pay discrepancies and then was told by the office that they need to double check the milage after the dispatcher quoted it, to make sure it was right. I just thought this was totally rediculous. I mean you should check your miles but the company shouldnt admit to being wrong and then blame it on the driver. Thats all.

its panther not the companyes panther is the one taking your money although panther payes the highest rate per mile in expedit they will also take back what evere the can for example if u get a week end load that pickes up on fri an delivers on mon if u do not ask fore lay over pay before u except that load they will not give it to u what it is panther dispatch gets a bonus every week for saving the company money the more they can take from u the biger ther bonus is plus if u r an owner whith only one or two trucks move ur trucks panther only caters to people whith 5 or more trucks they will smile in ur face fore the first 3 months then stab u in the back also another problem whith panther is they have to many trucks go whith a company that does not allow so many trucks u wont sit as often panther allowes ther dispatch to owen trucks there is one man of last year owend 23 trucks so when it gets slow guess who getting them loads

Where did you learn to spell? Or write for that matter.
If you are not asking for your layover pay, how is that Panther's fault? If you can't think far enough ahead to ask for it at the time you except the load offer, it is your fault. It isn't their job to babysit you.
Maybe next time you will remember?

If you are not asking for your layover pay, how is that Panther's fault? If you can't think far enough ahead to ask for it at the time you except the load offer, it is your fault. It isn't their job to babysit you.
Maybe next time you will remember?

I am kind’a offended by this post for some reason. I just don’t know what it is (outside of the grammar). I am trying to figure out why; maybe it is the obtuse reasoning that the company is “taking your money”?? I can’t see where this is “your” money, it takes two to make this work and they handle the money and that does COST money to do.
OK I guess that saving money is not a good business goal? If the dispatchers get a bonus for saving money, I should sell my house and move to Ohio with my knowledge on how to save a lot of money I can make more being a dispatcher than I could ever driving. For that matter I can buy 100 trucks and make even more money while I am making my bonuses.
You know another thing outside of the idea that everyone who works for Panther owns trucks; many companies do give some preference to fleet owners because of their capital investment and commitment to the carrier.

There are people at Panther that own trucks, but they are not in dispatch. The number in relation to their fleet size is very small.
Dispatching from three offices would also complicate matters.
You are spot on with your comments. To administer billing and or revenue after the fact, still has a cost. Apparently some fail to see that.
