Finally got moving and then it poured. Pheonix to El Paso - El Paso to Laredo - Mcallen to Nogalis. Now getting ready for some much needed sleep sitting at the exit 24 j OFF i10 in NM with one I picked up in Nogalis for and early am delivery in Toledo Tuesday.

Made the Dallas "J" and just had a bowl of homemade bean soup on a cool rainy night in Texas.....maybe a slice of the "J's" pizza now....Watch some football over a steak dinner at Logans back on 30 tommorow and then deliver on monday morning....:D

I used to live in Ft. Smith and worked at Walmart. I kind of liked it there, though not as much as I liked Russellville when we lived there. :D

I'll be doing that this afternoon. I delivered last night in Detroit and I'm deadheading home right now. I should be there in time for church. Then I'm going to head home and watch the Bengals dismantle Cleveland. If it's brown, flush it down.

I think it is the annual car swap meet in Carlisle, Pa.I'm at the house now,doing the honey do list thing.

Dropped in St. Paul and then managed to get some sleep before they called with one going from Hopkins, MN to Greeneville, TN .....

Was about 15 minutes from my drop on that and they called with a predispatch out of Sevierville, TN to Georgetown, KY for delivery Thursday evening ..... arrived at the shipper early and was about to take a nap while waiting to get loaded when they called again with another predispatch for Friday morning, picking in Harrodsburg, KY going to Austintown, OH for Monday .....

So I managed to get a paid trip home for the entire weekend .... first time that has happened in a while .... :D

They called again Saturday morning with another predispatch going up to Ontario ..... but I turned it down (... mostly because I was sound asleep when they called, and wasn't thinking real clearly :rolleyes:)

Your Gps will tell you to take the 287 @ Ft. Collins ,
don't do it , stay on I-25 to I-80.

Where are you going to Dh to,after the Del. ?

thanks for the heads up on the route...as for the DH after the drop, have a BIL in Rifle Colo.,probably headed down to see him..

Sweltering in Laredo at Flying J. It's hot and humid and we're 7th out and the (*****insert some not so nice words here****) battery set up our truck owner INSISTED on isn't worth a crap! So we are idling.. again. :rolleyes:

Got a run to Seattle, WA, but it cancelled. Probably it is good that it did since we would have definitely hit some snow. 5 min later got a load to Houston, TX. Not bad.
