Ran a Joliet, IL to Lincoln, NE. Wife and I stopped at a drive in that will be profiled on Diners Drive Ins and Dives on Friday night at 9:30pm.

I really enjoyed traveling through Iowa. Ntimevan, your state is very welcoming to travelers. Clean and plenty of rest areas on I-80. Roads well maintained. Very, very windy today though! Otherwise great weather but chilly!

The State does try their best to maintain the Roads ..
Over the next 2 to 3 weeks as Crop Harvest finishes ... it will be alittle Stinky as farmers inject Hog Manure into the soil ...

I kinda went into a part time retiring so that I can stay closer to home. But ntimevan might be right, my loads are doubling now.

Yeah Wife was "white knuckle driving" throughout most of Iowa from Des Moines to Omaha. And yes the smell, we caught on occasion. But the dust from harvesting the fields gave the impression of snowing!
