I used it on my roof of van.....it took 2 coats...the sunlight and the heating up it goes thru...BTW, OVM and everyone else that recommended...
I tried FlexSeal today. If it rains, we'll know for sure if it fixed the leak.
Thank you, guys.

I will heed your advice and apply another coat... once I get a will to climb the van again.I would suggest another coat....
Wal mart rotisserie?....Yuck...under sized and over cooked....but for 4.99 whata expect....I've found smaller grocery chains...are almost double in size and maybe 1-2 bucks more and NOT over cooked...some even have a veggie buffet!!I will heed your advice and apply another coat... once I get a will to climb the van again.I would suggest another coat....
On the side note... Costco makes some of the best rotisserie chicken for $4.99.
Beats HEB's and Wal-Mart's by almost double in size.

When i bought my Vent at the RV surplus in Elkhart ... i bought the 1" wide roll of seal tape for $5.00 ... nice and thick and plenty left over...Already first coat looks better than professionally smothered caulking around my vent. Clear wins over the white that has become dirty gray.

I have tape(flex tape) at home as well, but I will use it on the inside. Outside I'll use that FlexSeal. We'll see, so far it was trickle dripped at heavy thunderstorms. Maybe this will do the trick. When i bought my Vent at the RV surplus in Elkhart ... i bought the 1" wide roll of seal tape for $5.00 ... nice and thick and plenty left over...

The roll of stuff i used was thick tar-ish type that i put in between vent lip and van roof ... been 4 months and several hurricane type rain storms and no leaks ... the test will be next spring after a harsh winter ..hot/cold varing temps ...I have tape(flex tape) at home as well, but I will use it on the inside. Yeah, I had same thing done professionally at one rv place 2.5 (!) years ago for $90. But few winters and summers did their job. I hope yours last for much longer. The roll of stuff i used was thick tar-ish type that i put in between vent lip and van roof ... been 4 months and several hurricane type rain storms and no leaks ... the test will be next spring after a harsh winter ..hot/cold varing temps ...
