Unloaded in Richmond Virg. at 0230 after getting there at 0115 and the dock worker telling me he didn't touch freight with his hand, (it was a dock high facility only)...so after a few phone calls and an increase in the pay, I unloaded the freight tagged "rush delivery life saving medical supplies"...so I am now at the "J" north of Richmond in Ruther Glen...
On another note, #192 is back in service and hauling a "local", but it leaves him in a pretty good area to get loaded out of!!!

at the yard. Got to go to storage drop off some stuff, and head to the house to get my passport and birth certificate. Just had to pay to get all of that stuff done.
Then off to get fingerprinted for hazmat, and pay for another background check! Hopefully this time they don't have to fingerprint me 5 times just to tell me that they can not read my finger prints or make a complete set from the 5 they have taken so they have to run a name background check. But it makes me think if I ever want to rob a bank I may get away with it.....

well still sitting here in the wonderful carolina,s just like the song nothing could be finer than to be in carolina in the morning ,
well i am changing the words to that song nothing could be finer than me leaving the carolina in the morning NOW NOW now ,
WOW the mayor of blackburgs sc just show up with a cup of coffee & dunkin donuts & a voter registation card asking me would i vote for him in the next election because he thought i might have taken up living here as he saw the grass growing under my wheels lol
But i know dispatch is looking but i guess i better fill out this voter registation card just in case

Live or die by our decisions....one of Steves drivers came down to KC last night...I cleared out over to Columbia....guess who just got a load out of KC....tweren't me....LOL Good luck for her tho....I wish her well...

I talked to her Fri and she was in perrysburg ohio...she is at least movin....I am beginning to re think goin to the east coast...been here since the 11th and have more empty move miles and layover pay then paid miles and this is the 2nd time its been like this....but hey, when I start thinkin is when i get into trouble...guess ill just stay "clueless" and wait it out..
Oh, to be honesty, Mike jr called this morning, want to know if i wanted him to bid on a run with a 200 mile dh going to "Bellport" NY...out on the island...."ahh you can bid it, but i ain''t goin there unless you pay me to run 200 mile west out of there up front....he didn't call back...

She was going to do the same thing...unload, sleep and then clear out...luckily they caught her while she slept....so goes the biz...one mans fate is another ones good fortune...
Little things like that make a bad week into a better week as she'll end up in the Chicago area and prolly get right out...
