These 2 post are excellent examples for newbies...if you don't have the cash flow to run your business, you have no business being in any business........
Thank you...and yes, you are entirely correct. Unfortunately, some people must not have read my posts from a couple of months ago when I did have some money saved up while working for Panther. I had a lot more issues with my van than my bank account could handle. So I was unfortunate in the fact that I had little money to run on when I first got here. I do agree however, that if you don't have much money you shouldn't jump right into the buisness b/c alot of unexpected problems could happen. I also realize that I need a little more patience than what I've had recently. Last week went well, but I'm not so sure about this week. It's going to be a while before I post on here again (like anyone cares) lol so in the meantime everyone will be using my previous posts as an example of what not to do as an expediter...and for that matter probably my future posts also. (((If there are any)))...TO BE CONTINUED.....to me it looks like falligator may have made a move at the wrong time.he was running with panther probably just barley getting by.and was useing the 45% they give you at pick up to survive, till he got the rest of his pay from panther.im sure if he can figure out away thru this he will come out better with this company because they got to move you more than panther!
Don't let anyone bash you Falli. I have been through three cargo vans in 3 years. I have built myself up from the bottom of the barrel three times also. I started out last year with 250 dollars in my pocket, a 1500 cargo van, and a food stamp card.Thank you...and yes, you are entirely correct. Got a nice run out of Rothschild, WI yesterday afternoon going all the way down to Grand Island, NE. Another 700 miles. I've got 1700 miles under my belt in 3 days and there are still 4 more days left until the week is over. It pays to work for Bolt. No short loads for me!

I worked my way up to ten k in savings in 5 months thanks to, Charles D at "Demaris Transportation" who allowed me to lease on with his company despite not having a 3500 cargo van. If it were not for him and another small company last year, i'd be out of business for good.
Charles and me only booked loads that the van could handle, and it worked out great. I blew the engine in that van and I ended up having to use most of the money that I had saved up to buy the van that I have now.
I have been where you are at and it can happen to anyone. Just wait till you get your next round of pay and run like hell until you build yourself back up again.
