Wow it's hard to believe all the destruction, wastelands, business failures, housing devaluation, etc. that your new president has caused in his 3 months in office! Wonder what another few days will bring?

No Pjjjjj, it didn't happen in the three months we had Obama, it happened with the 35 years of democratic control of the city. Some may even go as far as saying 35 years of black control of the city but I don't think it is just a race issue, even though the city has made it one for 34 of those 35 years.
It was helped by the state, a very poorly run state. We have had some of the worst governors any state has ever had, who happened to be democratic, our present one is a political wh*re and she should be impeached but the people of the state are just too stupid to do that.
The signs are there, the same mindset that is here in Detroit (and the area) is in Washington, no doubt but look around people, you will see the same things happening to other major cities as it has with Detroit.
