I think you are blinded by your need to be right that you missed the point of my post and Layout's I believe.
I don't think anyone with half a brain would deny that the terrorists were successful in achieving changes to our government. ...
Nope not blinded at all, not looking to be right because I think that we are pretty much speaking about the same thing but not at the same point of view.
The one problem is that the government is out of control and that is our fualt as much as it is our problem. We pick on Obama in this case but tend to forget our past and what we should be doing beyond 9/11.
So the other thing is that most of the country can't get past this need to have a war on terror, even intelligent people in the media and in popular culture miss the fact that we can't really win any war like that because the people who re fighting against us are nameless people who you can't identify.
Of course our intel organizations are doing a fantastic job by tracking down leads but you have to ask yourself is it that we are so stupid to believe that the people who want to harm us are going to talk about this to others or plan something with a paper trail that can be traced?
I can't bring myself to thinking that the terrorist are stupid as much as I understand why most here in our country believe that they are goat herders in the desert.
As I said to Layout, to win you must wipe out a whole religion and their followers. That is true on so many levels because it is not we are fighting a group of people who happen to be Muslim but we are viewing the religion as one of violence and domination while our actions are one of conquest.
See for the stuff after that quote, I agree with you and it is what everyone else in this country should have but don't. It isn't about you but about them and their need to feel safe at any expense.
No matter what you think of me, it seems I'm speaking closer to the truth than most of you with your kneejerk right leaning reactions to something our president says or does.
