Did they change the laws
or what ? Two incidences of people coming from the merge lane right into the center lane and not even looking expecting me to yield to them
yupp they do it all the time not just cars but straight trucks and big trucks as well. They foget they be the ones on coming and they suppose to yield. Da but that makes too much sense. of which Common Sense they are lacking

So that was YOU!! Bolt called us thinking is was one of ours that is on a load for them.

"Can the driver leave and go get cash? We will reimburse you."

Yep found out that I can pay for the scale at the entrance to the marshaling yard with my debit card.

Oh by the way you have to pay $11 in and $11 out, was told that I will be reimbursed, but I'm not holding my breath..... And that's not a knock against bolt as I'm sure they will pay the extra. And now they know why none of their drivers wanted this load.

My wife has been here before in a van and it was hell, if I would have known where I was delivering I would have not taken it.

5.5 hours later still here waiting to get unloaded.

Holy crap already
Changed rear couple months ago. Now time for the front. At 82k..I think rotors are good to be surfaced.

I wish they would've lasted longer. I wonder at what mileage that ole guy in Iowa replaced his brakes in his promaster.

Edit found rotors at local auto parts store. Front pads and rotors

After your ordeal yesterday I hoped you slept last night.

Currently at the J in Haubstadt in.
I slept real good thanks Treadmill! I brought freight back up to Sterling Heights today and realized I was looking on the SB side of I75 at any older rusted, patched up 53' Trailers...thinking their underbellies, UBolts n Struts were also in haphazard condition. My eyes darted around around quite a bit coming back up here...but I'm much better today thanks. I'll probably never have that happen again in my Driving Career...it was such a Fluke I realize. It's just when you're in it and it's Fresh. It's fading, that picture of airborne tandems coming at me.
On my way to Grand Rapids for delivery tomorrow. You have a Safe, pleasant evening and Friday!

Sterling Heights to Grand Rapids tomorrow.
Hopefully something out of GR to bring me to Detroit or better yet Toledo vicinity!
Got a B.Day Party to attend of one of my best friend's Mom who will be
turning a healthy, happy, positive-thinking, go-getting, driving wherever, whenever, card-playing,
Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Surviving 86 years YOUNG!
I pray to be enjoying just an ounce of how she's living life at her age!

Thankful to whomever invented Razor Wire. NOT a good area, Highland Park.
All woman doors were locked down when I pulled in just now.
Wanted to connect with an employee to make sure it was okay if I slept inside their fence.
Nobody answered so I went and locked up/covered up my windows. People walking by, people riding bikes by.
Hoping, hoping, hoping they'd close that Gate and after about a 1/2 hr. it began beeping and closed.
Guessing they have Cameras somewhere and saw my Sprinter and that IT was still open.
Mags is already out. She's the Bestest!
7am load time. Good night.
