Two days, two offers to go to Texas. I need to go home to PA, just for a couple days. OTOH I could use the $$. Am I wrong not to take the runs?

Heck xmudman, that's a call only you can really make. We've all gone both ways over the years....gone home....and or....taken the load. You've got to decide for yourself what is your top Priority. What can wait, what can't. You need something at home, you gotta go. Don't have enough to make those Monthly Bills, you gotta work. You'll do what's right for you in your circumstance. Hard for us to know, because we aren't you in your personal situation. Ya know what I mean?

I know Ragman does.....and eats them too!
What could the Pope be contemplating...or is he holding his breath.
He has strong legs, I'll give him that....or did you photoshop yourself there and it's just his head?
I need sleep.

Strange........OK, I'm OOS and Toledo calls to offer me a load, it didn't happen. Then NC office calls with a load, it worked out and I made a quick $200 for a shorty. But, the strange part is, in addition to being OOS, I had my "tracking" program turned off, yet both calls told me how far I was from leg #1. So, when I shut off the tracking program they still know where I am?

Did you move after shutting the tracking off? If not, they might have had your last position before shutting the tracking down.

Why do they call you when you're out of service. That shows dispatch has no boundaries. You should call dispatchers at midnight at home and ask them if they see any loads for you. That is the only thing I hated when I worked there. I would just turn my phone off if I were you.
