Same here. Planned to drive home from Carlisle PA, but being the only van or unit that Express 1 has in PA I think I'll be sticking it out until Friday evening at least. I'm thinking about going to Petro for Turkey or possibly looking for a Bob Evans. Hoping to avoid the Black Friday shoppers somehow. :D

We're at home after a fuel line restriction. Back in service tomorrow.

Got to spend some quality time with my oven and the woodstove. Made my world-famous pumpkin roll, a veritable cornicopia of hors d'oevres (pretty sure I spelled that wrong), a blackberry pie, and Mama's most awesome garlic-rubbed chicken. No family, but spending the day with our best friends and looking for the joy of watching the Lions get beat.

I have a ton to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

gonnah have a turkey dinner tonight.

(only members of EO, can pass on on a comment like this, a Moose eating a turkey, without giving it a 2nd thought )

then up shopping for a new phone/blue headset.

There have been some really high paying loads over this holiday. I got one of my team vans an 830 mile run for 1400 bucks. I paid them a thousand dollars to do it and ate the 75 dollar quick pay fee. The had to make 5 stops on Thanksgiving day which is why the load paid the big bucks and I knew my team would have to deadhead home empty, so I paid them well. Why not spread the wealth as a carrier. I'm taking my carrier lessons from Load 1 and John Elliot. Oh, I also comchecked them their money right after they delivered. That's the way I do business out here. I hope you all are enjoying the long weekend!

Sitting up here in PA since I droped 23rd. Walked to walmart about 6 miles down the road yesterday on thanksgiving then walked back, bought a reef and 2 Bowties. This morning got up and decorated the truck and with that and 4 candy canes. Still sitting here some body at the company said its slow. Well Im not sitting up here in PA all weekend doing nothing. I always told the Troups if your not doing nothing dont do it here go Home. Taken my own advice. Latter have a wonderful weekend. Truck IT.

Nice haul, Roger! They asked me if I wanted to do one to Canadia yesterday, but I guess it didn't go thru. I love those Canadian runs... and I don't mean from poutine! :eek:

Turkeyrun classic car show at the Speedway in Daytona Beach: over 5000 cars.
Going on Sunday, with camera - saw quite a few sweet ones headed south on 95 yesterday. :)

I'm having a long weekend at the house. Wednesday night was a Bud night at the bar where my starving musician son was playing, Thursday and yesterday on the bike, today I'll be cooking up the holiday feast.

Cheri, we expect a detailed written review of each and every car at the show.

I ended up DHn home for the holiday. Posted some piano Christmas music on my Facebook page. Got the new Modern Warfare 3 game.

Picking up in Pierceton IN in an hour and heading to Florence KY for a 6 am drop. This makes 6 runs this week and I took Thursday off, not bad at all.
