Remembered I had summer diesel in tank... just topped it off with some winter blend... wiper jug is an ice cube wrapped it in a heating pad , going back up and stick the hair dryer inside and also heating up the winter fluid in the house

Going on hour number 3 of waiting at the shipper for freight that isn't here. It went out on UPS shortly before I arrived. The shipper has been closed for an hour and the paying customer hasn't responded.

I have to sit at the shipper until 06:00 to collect detention pay. There is no place close to layover so I will spend the night here. I usually sleep well when getting paid by the hour. Come morning this load will be a dry run because the freight isn't here. More money for doing nothing but sitting.

I got $185 for the night and another load later that afternoon.

Hawk, besides the waiting, how is the new gig?

Too soon to tell. I love the long runs, and like reefer work. But I need to see how the next few runs work out, not to mention paychecks, before I answer that.
