At home. Cleaned a limit of bluebills, having those with peppers and onions tomorrow. Had a bowl of venison stew for dinner. Life is good.

The freight rates without FSC for loads has always been low. It's the fuel surcharge fluctuation that is making the total pay for loads tolerable. So, the FSC rates are going down, making the total pay less than desirable. The repercussions of being compensated for high fuel prices...

Was doing some reading and came across this. Thought I'd share.

" I used to have two large Petro Insulated Mugs the big blue one, I used one for a emergency bathroom in the event of rain or bad weather, the other was my drink cup, CLEARLY marked to prevent confusion....I walked into a Petro, set them down and walked over to get some soap, when I came back one was missing, I looked over to the soft drink machine and here was a guy filling the mug up with soda, a big yellow P stenciled on the side, I hope he enjoyed his drink !!!!"

Have to ask. ..why are you bringing your.... as you say "P" cup into the building? ?

I think the "walked over to get some soap" was a clue: to wash it. Though putting it down in a public place is very uncool, IMO.
Ever since I switched from coffee to tea in the morning, I have the opposite problem: if I pour the leftover out on the grass, it looks like something else, lol.

My 120 mile load finished now to go 200 miles to Kearney NE to sit and wait. I may not make it that far with weather and tiredness.

I'm stuck out here in NE trying to get to Kearney without dozing. I stopped to potty and check this. 98 miles left til i can nap. Working home. Wanna be there by friday midday.

Went on to the airport, was gonna nap there till 6.... Plane was already there. So no nap again. Now empty and for sure gonna nap since I've been awake for 26 hours.
