Predictably, MSNBC is all over this vote in North Carolina. I just heard the news anchor mention that same-sex marriage referendums have been placed on state ballots 32 times since 1990... and 32 times the voters have rejected attempts to legalize homosexual marriage. It loses every time the citizens get to vote. That is an overwhelming rejection across all these states over a 22 year period. There would be absolutely no gay marriage anywhere in the United States except in those states where activist judges have decided to issue their own decrees. Even California voters recently rejected same-sex marriage when placed on a state ballot, effectively overturning previous court rulings there.
Despite what you might hear in the liberal press, there is no widespread support for gay marriage. It has a tiny following which makes a lot of noise. Put this issue up for vote in the remaing 20 states and watch it be eradicated once and for all.
