I think that what happened was that barely into the start of the logo change,they changed their minds.
I don't mean that they changed their mind on going with the red,but did decide that they where going to much larger logo's and turning the back logo on it's end.
This makes no sense really, because now instead of just having one division only (custom critical) changing logo's, you have the entire fedex fleet having to do a changeover.
So instead of us having a simple change where the new logo's would be in the same place, and very little shadowing, we are going to go with these HUGE ones that will leave the shadowing on the box.
The other problem that they are having is that with the new LARGER logo's you very well may have to reposition your placard holders which will leave holes that will need sealed up.
IMHO, this is not one of the smartest decisions that Fedex has ever made.
