I evidently posted this question in the wrong place - over there where all the newby bashers are - so I'll try here.
I'm getting ready to file for my own authority. I will be filing my single state registration (SSR) with the state of Texas and know I will have to have a NY HUT, comply with New Mexico and Oregon weight and mileage registrations. The SSR includes 38 states. What happens in the states not covered in the SSR? I have searched the individual states DOT and DMV web sites, but they don't offer much information other than oversize/overweight permitting.
Thanks for any info on this or maybe a point in the right direction.
