Remember back in the 80's when the Detroit Crips would come up and try to muscel in on the Flint Crip drug trade? How many of those Detroit gang bangers did they find dead in the Hogbacks? I remember the prosecuter at the time said we didn't have a gang problem, even tho you couldn't swing a dead Crip without it getting sprayed with gang grafitti, drive bys and car jackings were just a part of every day news stories. I remember the beginning of the Crips in Beecher, the 3 guys who started it up lived up the block from me. Good old days. Wonder what ever happened to them.

Most likely, they are pushing up daisies or are at the Jackson Hilton.

I thought for sure Nogales or Yuma, AZ would be on the top 10 list. You know, with all the drug cartels taking over the border towns of Arizona and all the violence spilling over from Mexico, you'd think they would've made the top 10. Surprising.

Nah! They are a bunch of amatures.
Detroit has been at it over 40 years.

I do hate all the bad press Detroit has gotten of late. Not that it isn't justified, but it has been a bit over the top and somewhat politicized. The one good thing about Detroit being bashed so harshly, they've taken Cleveland out of that lime-light for the time being.

It's a known FACT that if you wish to see the results of what strong Progressive Liberal Idealogy does to an economy and it's community, then look no further than Detroit Michigan.

What community/economy is next in line?? Chicago of course. Leave the Dictator Rahm Emanuel as Mayor there for the next decade, and America will have it's second Detroit Michigan to deal with.

Risk vs reward. There is a solution but our weak members are too frail for me to present it. The risk must exceed any potential reward. Details omitted since some can't face reality.

It's ok Leo. If you want to kill them all just say so. Your same reply all the time is boring. :D

Not all, just repeat citizen felons for their third (or greater) conviction and first time illegal alien felons. The right thing is often boring compared to the wrong thing.

Well I would agree with you but part of the problem is also a race issue, this is a divided region and it will be for a long time. This issue is one that has allowed people to justify behaviors, not just of those of one or another race but everyone. Tie this to the mentality that the union has built, you have a mess.

The second Detroit is New Orleans, really they are above Detroit with the mess of government and attitudes of the people. If Katrina happened in Detroit, you would have the same exact rhetoric coming from everyone as you have had from New Orleans.

Good call. Two of them are eligible for parole in 2020. The ringleader, Stanley, is doing life without parole as a Level 5 in Ionia. Michigan Department of Corrections Offender Tracking Information System webpage is like classmates.com to us.

I think someone is pouting......

Say what's on your mind Leo, it's a free country.

No, no pouting, maybe a little dismay that more and more and weaker and weaker and unwilling to see and do what shouldnbe done. They prefer to legislate against and penalize honest people rather than be as tough as needed to make actual changes.

I can't get by the whole, "The risk must exceed any potential reward," comment.
