I didnt even bother to open the link...he is a great actor, and 1 of my favorite, but who cares what he has to say!?!? I mean because he is an actor his words carry more weight then the average voter...please

Just another actor. Actors, much like Obama, spend their days pretending to be something that they are not. At least Morgan is FAR better at pretending than Obama is. Neither is doing anything REAL. He words, no matter how much I may or may not agree with them, hold no sway with me. He is a far better speaker than Obama is.

Just good to know not all Hollywood has their collective heads up their butts tho...
actors, sports celebs, whatever, can get the word out and have some influence....no difference then a good CEO either...

No, it is NOT work, it is PRETENDING. PLAY acting. NOT REAL. Nothing is real in a movie. Movies are a luxury, with no real use. If there was never a movie made we would do just fine. If farmers don't grow, garbage men quit picking up or sewage workers stop, THEN it will have a REAL effect on life.

Baseball players, hockey players, etc, PLAY. They don't work. They also do not produce anything of real value. Food has real value, houses have real value.

No..that is work....what a world it would be with no entertainment....
The people who make the sets...the people who drive them people around...the people who feed them....the planes that transport them....Millions of working people, jobs created by the entertainment sector...

I don't need to be entertained, I am more than able to entertain myself. Today's 'entertainment' is just yet ANOTHER way to sit on your butt and do NOTHING.

Actors etc, produce nothing of real value. It is all just a diversion from what is important. You can't eat a movie. It does not cure your illness nor clothe your body. It does not prevent disease nor bring water into your home. It has no REAL purpose.

They are just another form of pollution. ALL those planes, trucks spewing fumes for no reason except to pretend to tell a story about something they know nothing about.

By the same token, his words should not be dismissed out of hand simply because he's an actor. When actors say things people don't agree with, they dismiss them as actors, but when Chuck Norris says it, whoowee that's a different ball o' wax right there.

How many blacks are truly black?? Even Miachell (spelled wrong) O has white roots back to her grandparents who were slaves in S.C. Shes a product of a white plantation owner. I think that's what made her hate the white race as she does. After they both are gone we will see the truth on both of them.

Actually this isn't true. People need an escape and movies and sports provide that for many. It is not that different than a day in the woids or on the water. Yes these things have a side benefit of putting food on the table but its primary purpose is an escape from the mundane.

I agree, it would be a sad world without entertainment. And its not as if its a new culture ..... plays were performed hundreds of years ago too.

Reading, dancing can also be an escapes, and as another thread shows, music.

Chuck Norris!?!? He isn't even a good actor...LOL and his Opinion doesnt do much for me either...Now Uncle Ted, yea what he has to say while is opinion, is inline with mine..he likes to kill things too...:D...

Oh and I didn't say i didn't agree with Morgan, i siad i never opened the link...so i can't say if i agree or not.....but i also said, just because he is an actor , his opinion doesnt carry any more weight then the avg joe...and thats my opinion...:0
