13 days left till MATS and we are counting down the days. March 27 - 29.
Parking:
Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium parking lot. The parking is free and hundreds of trucks can fit in here. There are shuttle buses running back and forth to the show. There is an Expedite Area designated in the parking lot. If the weather is good all of us will gather to sit and chat, bbq, play corn hole, and learn what each other has found at the truck show. We will have our truck in this area on Wednesday.
Thursday Evening - Papa Johns Parking Lot
Join the Trucking Solutions Group for the MATS Driver Health Awareness Walk at 6:30 pm. We will meet at the TA/Petro Shower trailer and OOIDA Stage. This year we will have a destination walk over the Churchill Downs, around the Barbaro statue, and back. TA/Petro is once again sponsoring the walk and they have a nice surprise for everyone that completes the walk.
Saturday
Salute to Women behind the Wheel - 11:00 am South Wing,
[FONT=Open Sans, sans-serif]Rooms C201-C204 (2nd floor). This is a fun event for all women drivers, great gift bags, goodies, music, networking opportunities, and a free t-shirt. Remember when attending the Salute to take the survey that Dorothy Cox will be working on about the need to get a mammogram bus at these events.
All three days stop by the Freightliner booth and say Hi! We will be working with our fellow Team Run Smart Pro's and we look forward to seeing you! Bob Perry will also be demonstrating the FIT System in his 1/2 cab.
There are many activities at this truck show and in three days it is impossible to see it all. Bring your walking shoes as they are needed. [/FONT]
