It certainly doesn't make it any easier when you and up and I city only to find out you are one of 20-60 other trucks available for dispatch. There's a lot of bodies out there and it's really making it tough on some of those guys.
Trust me, no one's carrier want you to sit anywhere near as long as you are sitting. Everyone wants every one of their drivers to make money. Carriers are not doing this on purpose. They are actually not doing this at all. This is the market, and this is a market that will be adjusted/corrected.

Made our delivery in Detroit 1/2 early. We make it home, safe and sound. Our plan is to fish on Lake Erie early Sunday morning.
It is a bit chilly for this time of year here. It was 37 this morning. It reminds of on 1975, the year my first son was born. May that year was cool and wet, up until May 20th, the day he was born. It was in the 50's for the high on the 19th, then 80 on the 20th. Besides my son's birth I remember it was a REALLY good year on the Lake, here is hoping things repeat! (except for the kid part, I am WAY past the kid raising age!)
