well i do not know if any of you guys & gals know this but sitting in waterloo ia a few straight truck driver was talking apparpently there is a exemption to the weight on a straight truck if there is a APU so a state trooper drove in i walked over yep there is got a copy in truck now 400 lbs will leave in safety a copy of it

Same temp as here...how bout that...
2 flying pilots with ALL of their showers down for remodeling...How nice...at the rodgers T/A, where I took one...so well worth the 12 bucks! Fluffly towels, bath mat made of towel material, not that paper that comes apart and sticks to youre feet in a zillion pieces..lol..Even a shower head that works nice! And, wait a minute!! A shelf in the shower! Wow! No more putting my soap and shampoo and back brush on the floor this time!! lol...
So I am out walking the dog, and another expeditor sticks his head in my van while I am like 100 feet away and is looking around inside my van ....so I yell at him, and he just walks away....what is with people these days?? Geez!! Now I fully understand the concept of parking at a Wal-Mart...Please, God, bless me with a load, and quick!!

you should of sicked the dog on him or at least blown a gasket. unbelievable, i would of lost it and got myself in trouble.

I delivered one Monday morn...I was off sick Tuesday, and my little run to Detroit area tomorrow morn is first one back out.

Delivered last Friday, moved on Monday, was moving today when a short load came up. First one this week.

At the "J" in Altoona, Iowa for the night....
From my observations there doesn't seem to any real peak seasons anymore...less then 5 yrs ago at this time we would be begging for sleep time and were running wild....the last 2 years things seemed to change...it is more like run for a few weeks and then slowdown....more peaks and valleys then anything consistent...the ones who get fortunate and be in the right spot , right time...great for them.....others not so good...and it appears sometimes it is me sitting one time and then my turn to get lucky...and then the next driver or 2....
Guess what I mean is there used to definitive busy times and slow times....now it is more consistent....maybe that is a good thing on one hand...
