Cheri, as long as you keep it serviced running it won't hurt it. I don't believe the starting hurts it either. We have never been a big fan of letting it get down on charge. We leave ours running all the time when stopped. We have everything set up to run on 110 when the apu is on plus we have a whole lot of stuff running in here all the time. We have over 14000 hrs on the apu. Good so far, knock on wood. But the big reason we run it is all the stuff, coffe pot on always plus tv and sattelite and a few other things, air purified. So I would say do either, just dont run the down to far.

On another note, hope the posse gets out today. Glad to see you got stuff done and back in service nick/jenny. Did you need a radiator ? We will unload in Rome this afternoon. Had 2 john, back to back. Thanks mike, for both.

Hi All...well its not even noon yet and it is already one of those days...Picked up in Los Indios Tx and headed north ...Runnin 65 mph, ac goin, its all good...wait..whats that steam coming from the ac vents??..Switch the ac off and switch to the defroster and raise the temp...yeap now its coming out the defroster ...not steam a mist of coolant...Heater core is leaking....

So...stop in Kiongsville Tx...try to buy 2 pair of "hose pincher pliers", they are made to pinch off coolant hoses during repairs...nope, have to order them....so...2 pair of small needle nose vise grips and a tornup towel later, the heater hoses are pinched off no more leak from the heater box....the rad to cool enough, fill it and back on the road...temp fix, but its all good...THEN..

just south of Beeville Tx...big truck has a load on a flatbed covered in plastic and it is "flapping in the wind"....i am about 4 lengths back when a nice piece tears off...opps..cant move to the left, traffic is there because I am only running 65 in a 70...cant go rt because there is a guardrail...hit the plastic....watch the mirror for it to come out the back...nope and then slap slap slap..its wrapped around the driveshaft....slowdown more, drive a few miles and find a place wide enough to pull off and crawl under the truck knife in hand....10 minutes later, i have cut it from around the carrier bearind and boot for the rear driveshaft boot....wait...whats that drip from the boot...opps..i nicked the boot with the knife...Trans fluid is now leaking from the boot....

So...ill keep an eye on the trand fluid level and after I deliver I'll try a temp fix on the boot with some silicone sealer....

Dennis has a few repairs when he gets home....:(
