Still hanging in Iowa, had dinner with my little sis last night, haven't seen her in a couple years so it was a good evening.

Ok, while i was out west messing around, I installed a "bugshield/deflector on the ft edge of the hood of the Cargo Max..Now...as ifigured it would, but it is worse then I thought it would be..the thing takes air off the windshiield anf the wipers do not do the job the did before..they are new blades and the arms still have good tension...so...has anyone ever drilled a few well placed holes in one of those shields to let some air pass through to get more air to the windshield?? If so how did it work? If not, does anyone see whay it wouldn't work??

To correct the problem of changed airflow to the windshield caused by the installation of a bug deflector, you need a product called "Wiper snuggies", often found at most chrome shops, and a few select truckstops. They really do work.

Also, the presence of winter-wipers will cause the wiper to lift off the windshield a lot worse than standard wipers will, in additon to the changed airflow caused by the bug shield.

The Petro shuold have these, of even the Lone Star Chrome shop behind the Petro, across from the shop, by the water tower where you are at, in El Paso.If you need a laundro mat, coming out of the Petro, go south on that road, to the end, and there is a strip shopping center in front of you.At youre right, that end of the strip shopping center, is the laundromat.

Thanks Guido...Bug Shield, winter blades....ok, ill be heading to the Petro across the street for the "Snuggies" and to the auto parts house for a set of good "regular" wiper blades....

Well, the temp here in El Paso went up high enough to make it uncomfortable sitting in the van..Soooo, out comes the Generator and AC unit for the 1st time this yr...filled the extended range fuel tank hooked it up to the generator and 5 pulls later, i had AC and its cooling off nicely in here...:D

Angie's dog had a litter of puppies. She asked me to take the last one she had. Just happens she's of the female persuasion. Her name is Cheyenne.
