Sitting in a motel room in Tuscaloosa, after spending most of the day in the hospital. Got woke up about 4 am by excruciating pain in side/back.. tried to walk it off, take some ibuprofen, etc... by 7 I was losing my breath from pain. So, headed to hospital, where after tests, CAT scan, etc.. they discovered the nice kidney stone trying to create an exit path.
Released about 430... but Im hangin here for the night to let my nerve endings recover.

Yikes! They planning to break it up with ultrasound or anything? I've never had one, but I had a kidney infection that knocked me flat, so I can imagine the pain - hope it gets resolved fast. [Was gonna say 'hope it passes by quick', but maybe that's not what you want to hear, lol]
It's good to be reminded that our complaints seem petty, as they don't involve hospitals or excruciating pain. [Reading the Soapbox is voluntary - it doesn't count!]
Get better quick, Dale, you're needed here.
