We are sitting at the TA on I95 in NH. We have a load for June 1st going out of Albany, NY headed for Spokane, WA. We will move over to Albany later today and try to come up with a plan to kill the weekend.

Home in Traverse City till Tuesday. I will fly out to McAllen, TX on Tuesday and on Wednesday I will be driving a Motorhome from Donna Tx to Grand Haven Michigan over the next week. Hope to be there by Saturday. It's my small test of Expediting for a few days. Should be fun (I hope)

I will be watching for you guys along the way!

Commerce, Ga: 92 in the sleeper, I'm heading to WalMart to stock up on groceries, then to a motel [got the Check Inn card] for a long weekend of movies, swimming, & playing with my dog.
Hey, I just did 5 loads in 5 days, around 2800 miles, I'm taking a break, ok? :)
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, while remembering what Memorial Day is about.
I know I will. My younger daughter will be sworn into the Navy next week, and I just wish my Dad [Navy vet] had lived to see it - he'd be even prouder than I am.
PS She says the penalty for using bad language is doing pushups - she's going to come out of basic strong enough to kick anyone's butt, lol:D

Now at the Pilot in Rotterdam, NY. Will stay here the weekend. Motels are too much around here. Rented a car, can do all kinds of good stuff and just sleep in the truck. Much cheaper than the motels.

I'm at the Dallas J after loading in Garland, then an oil change at Speedco. I have 'til Tuesday morning to get to Duncan, S.C. I might as well not be in the madness that's out there on the road right now.

What really helps the problem of poor a/c when idling is to clean the condensor and evaporator as well as the radiator with a/c coil condensor cleaner found at most smaller hardware stores.I buy 4 cans, and spray everything after removing the radiator from the vehicle.Anmd rinse with a garden hose. You would be surprised at how much junk collects in the fins of the condensor and radiator over time. The same with the evaporater. My a/c blows at 34 idling and 28 going down the road.

I think Penske would have a cow if I took the radiator out of the truck LOL:eek:
Meanwhile my road warrior loaner with 303K on it has nice and cold ac and runs well, they can leave me in this truck as far as I am concerned, oh BTW it is a 2006, that is some serious mileage for a daycab straight

I am home every night and off on Saturday and Sunday and that is fine with me.

Also,

To all those in the military or have been in the past. Thank you for your service. We all seem to forget that Memorial Day isn't just a three day weekend, where you have a BBQ and drink beer.
