My express 1 nightmare 72 hours of waiting then canceling the final resolution was paid me for the load minus the fuel surcharge
I had one of those at D1. drop off in South Texas at 1500 on a holiday Sunday. I got there 24 hours early. No one there. No one showed up until Monday, and he was just running in to get something. I ask him when will someone be here to unload me... Holiday, holiday was all I was told. One of their biggest customer's, I had two 1200 lb bags of fruit-loop pellets. Around 0900 Tues, folks started showing up. So, instead of 1.05 a mile, I got 2.10 a mile and fsc on 1,000 miles.
This past week I had a load dropping off at 0300 in Houston. No one there until 0830, unload at 0900. "...this customer has a 2 hr grace, we will pay you 3 hrs wait" huh, what about the other hour? lol The run paid really good, so I left it at that, and happy to do so.
And, I showed'em how to get out of Houston....
