Woke up by a call from Kristy.. heading in a bit to pick up one heading to Tomah, WI.

Dale, if you're looking for dinner in Tomah, try the TeePee Supper Club - nice place.
Thanks Cheri, but looks like my week is turning... assuming I get unloaded quick in the morn, pickin up one in Chippewa Falls, headed to... wait for it... Orion, MI tomorrow night. Van needs some maintenance, so if all works out, get that done Thurs morn in Sterling Heights, then see if its "yard time" for me.

Hang in there, this is not normal. The last two weeks have been really strange on freight for the small vehicles. Normally I would agree with OVM's advice but right now I am not sure. It is almost a take whatever comes to turn the wheels. It is somewhat better today, but a little too early to tell if this little slump is over. No explanation for it at all, that is what drives me crazy.
i know, i had 3 in one week and the last of them i deadheaded 114 miles for, got loaded, drove about 40 miles and had to take the freight back because the customer cancelled my load and a bulk trailer load from same shipper. what in the world is going on out here? its crazy John. im trying to hold it together.
Call with a over-weight load and refuse you loss, layover and postion.I just hate to think what you spend on layover and empty move pay when it is slow like this, it has to add up real quickly! So much appreciated, though.
