Not cheap....but what a lot of fun! The wife and I are both in the process of getting our concealed carry permits. I turned her on to shooting and she really enjoys it. I think she likes it more than I do which is always good...lol If she likes it that means more toys...lol

South Dakota is in the process of passing a law that a citizen doesn't need a concealed carry permit...i just want one to shoot skunks and other varmits that wander onto our land..gotta protect my kitty cats ya know...*l*
Delivered early, now hanging out in Indianapolis. Always was a good freight place.. already slept overnight, hoping for a good run out quick

Looks like a long day at the yard. I would move if I knew where to move to. Moved to the yard last night so I could grab a shower this morning. Angie has some paperwork of some kind for me to sign also.

but not today..kinda seems frivolous to buy one when business is slow. I can always go practice on the rifle...lord knows I've got enuff pop cans.
After talking with dispatch for the last three days, repeatedly, about needing a load heading in the general direction of home, and getting nothing, after finally sitting in Madison Heights for more than 24 hours, I finally left out late last night heading towards home. Stopped by the office and turned in paperwork, inquired again about anything at all heading south, got snapped at by a rather sick but dedicated dispatcher who probably needs to be home in bed, I drove down to Beaverdam and pulled over for the night to get some sleep, went to bed around 3AM. 9AM this morning I get a call for a load from Wooster to Syracuse. Not exactly heading south, now is it?
I explained the situation, again, and it was, "I'd hate to turn down a load because of that reason. You know we can get you money on a Comcheck to hold you over until you can get a load back up here."
Back up here? I don't live back up here? Are you kidding me? What is it with the constant need to get people back up here? I was right there for 30 hours! Why would I want to go to Syracuse, sit for the weekend, then get a load "back up here" where I don't live, or even better, deadhead home from Syracuse?

Something I've been talking about over a year. For some reason they think we all live in Detroit. Didn't use to be that way. In fact I can remember the last load. In the s/t 4th qtr of 2010. Just delivered near the yard. Put my paperwork in the mailbox. Frankie called. I see you wanna go home. Yep. Got one picking up western MI delivered to Allison in Bmore. I was all over it.
Since then not one. Always, and I do mean always, going opposite direction. Don't know what changed. But it wasn't for the good.

I don't really care if they bring me to Taylor or not...I'll go to where the load takes me.....but not to be 23rd out....we might move vans out of there fairly well...but not that quick...
