Tom, I do not like to talk about rates but my rates have been good..had a load last week and it paid 1.86 a mile..the lowest rate I had was a 1.56 but it was 1700 miles to Laredo...see no problems here...just need a good run out of Laredo. not many trucks here so I am thinking I should get a good rate out of here...

He is still doing that? I thought something was said to him about that in the past...That's not right, especially with the parking problem we already have.

Been a busy and challenging last 3 days...lol...New rotors and severe duty pads installed, along with new bearings, shocks, polyurethane stabilizer bar bushings,mirrors, composite style headlights, etc, Waiting for the new coil packs to come in, I have 2 that are bad..firing on 6 cylinders at he moment.I hope to be ready to go on Friday...But, after being gone for close to 3 months away from home, I don't feel guilty about being home, especially all I have done since being here is work on it, making sure it is all correct.gotta love it!

Spent the morning in the vet's office. Thought for sure we were going to lose our dog, she stopped eating, but vet said not yet.

Her kidneys are failing, but the meds are still working she was just a bit anemic and had a couple of canker sores in her mouth.

Back at home. I'm breathing easier, and she's sleeping peacefully on my lap.:)

Well I'm Sorry your having to go through this . Having an ill pet is hard. Had a dog named bo he was 16 years old when he died. Had a tumor the size of a grape fruit. It's sad to see your loved ones (pets) having to go through this.

I just wanted to touch base and thank you all to not only my Load 1 family but to my fellow expeditors. All your thoughts and prayers were more than we could have imagined. Dad lived a long and eventfull llife, He has gone to be with his father in heaven. I am so sorry for you're loss.It is never easy for anyone to go through.As I get older,The times my parents and I spend together become more cherished. We cannot evade death.But as much as we don't want to admit it, it is unavoidable in our lives.A friend once told me, "We start dying from the day we are born" At first, I thought how cold of a thought, but, as time grew, I realized he is so correct.It is the loss and absence of the loved one in our lives that is so difficult for us.I think the best thing we can do if we face this situation ourselves is remember the cherished times we have spent with the ones we lost.Once again, my deepest sympathy for you're loss.
