Yeap Guido you got it !! But you really don't need to give out my fishin hole!! LOL, i always do good there, and if you are there on fri and sat nights, great little place called MICKEYS and a great BBQ place called 2 Purple Pigs...and the Pigs has free wifi and the owner is a great guy ..you can sleep in his lot all night no problem, even big rigs...oh and for sports on TV, they have a 24 ft screen!!!

2 Purple Pigs...now, there is a place I just can't wait to eat at!!! lol...There used to be an excellent pace that used to be an old gas station in Lexington, on 412, that has the best catfish in the world! awesome! The owner retired.Too bad. You're fishing hole? It may be everybody's ! We do good, out of there, and then, I have a friend who is leased to 3 companies at once, that can't get the time of day out of the Nashville area..

Constructive criticism can be a good thing. It can be the motivation for change. Ive been reading the L1 forum for months...long before I signed on. I have seen changes made that were directly associated with comments made here in this forum. As long as the conversation is respectful and productive, it doesnt hurt to get things out in the open.

This week looks like it will be far less than stellar for me also. My numbers for the week are close to Shadow's. I could complain, but being the new guy who signed on at a bad time...I won't.

I trust that John hears every word that you guys are saying and I trust that he is doing what he can to make those changes. I know that most of you feel the same. Progress never comes as fast as we would like to see it.

I tried this approach once....with someone...(constructive criticism).got the silent treatment instead....lol..

Part of the all roads lead to Taylor issue has to do with Canada. We are often able to bod freight that our competition cannot as they don't serve Canada. That and we bid $ not locations. If $ took us to IA we would be running to IA. Between back hauls and our sales team MI often represents our best revenue equation. Being percentage based that is the best thing for all involved.

This is probably why I am not liked very much, speaking my mind and all, but,.....What difference does it make where we go, as long as we have a load on the truck??? I mean, we are not driving a Prevost, or anything like that, right? I thought the main idea was to haul freight, no matter where it goes, making money while doing so?I don't care if I run back and forth from Mi to Florence, as long as it pays, and IS somewhat consistent. And, as many vehicles as we do get piled up here at times, they still do a good job of getting us out in a reasonable manner, so, what's the beef? Ken, this is not directed at you personally, mind you..And, besides, it is a money-saving feature coming up here, free, nice, clean showers, free truck wash, laundry, drivers lounge, so, is it REALLY that bad of a thing? I can understand if we need to get home, and it doesn't happen, and as nice as it would be, they always can't pull a load going to a certain destination out of their rear ends, either, as competitive as it is....I'm just sayin'

And I was just sayin what I was just sayin.....now you know what I was sayin?...Right?....lol

It has been a productive day today...Went to Ford to pick up the clips for the new headlights...Then to Belle to have the tires balanced and rotated...Then to Joe the tireman in Monroe to have the alignment checked and re-done..It was off .The front end checks out tight, the only 2 things we found were a loose shock, and the stabilizer bar bushings, (less than a year old), shot. The new polurethane one's will be at the house on Wednesday.Walmart...gassed up..showered up...laundry done..van washed...nap done...all ready to go...

Im worried that I may have the same problem Turtle had. Ive used my bank card several times in the last week, even at the same place I just tried to buy gas. Tonight it wont go through. Tried two different stations. I think the card may have been suspended. I checked my account and the money is there, but there was a transaction that I dont remember making for $191 and several of the $1 transactions. Ive just got that feeling. I'll probably have to wait until monday to find out. I dont think anyone at the bank will be able to help tomorrow.

I do have some cash, so its not a problem yet.

When i used to use my debit cardfor gas it would put a $1 hold on the card until it went through. Usually if you call the number on the back of the card they can verify transactions with you. Our card gets suspended every other mnth or so because they think its fraudulent purchases when it is us.

Thanks...I'll try that and see. I did go to the banks website and called the number they give. That guy wasnt showing anything for my card...kinda wierd.

Its entirely possible that my purchases in the last week could have thrown a flag being a sudden change in locations.

Might have to call your bank and get them to allow all transactions for traveling. Had this problem to sense was using it at all different kind of locations. Tried using my walmart credit card and was denied along with my debit and had to get it all changed. From now on I go to the ATM and take out cash that way I dont use the card as much to get it flagged.

Tell the dumb bank that all purchases start in Taylor.

Lol...now they do..huh?

I did call the number Jenny suggested and the nice lady says my card should be good...not blocked. So, I'll go try again. She said sometimes its just the specific location. I tried 2 places though already.

My US bank (Chase) emailed and then called me when they saw 3 transactions in a 5 minute span at Duty Free but have never put a freeze on my card.
