Working very well, thanks for asking. Still some nerve pain but no more leg cramps. Why the surgeon didn't put me on it I'll never know. They just cut and send you on your way.

Good Morning All!! Empty in Shreveport La. According to the receiving person here, GM Truck and Bus Assembly Shreveport will build its last truck and close completely in Aug of this yr....
So..1st 2 cups of coffee are gone, thinkin about WaffleHouse for breakfest......Just need Dispatch to do their thing and get me out of here asap....Thinkin about runnin out this evening if nothing comes up, but where do you go from here..don't want to run back to Dallas, Texarkana ain't never been much to write about..Little Rock can be ok, W. Memphis, well Olive Branch, but that dang near 400 miles again...i guess ill wait here a day or 2 and see how it goes....
Anyhow, you all have a great day and let this be the satrt of a great week for everyone!!!

Never good to hear of a plant closing and people losing their jobs. Chef did they mention where the jobs are going?

gettin tax figures together. lookin ok, but we could have spent a little more money. gonna have to do something about this year though. better spend or pay the irs every 90 days. guess thats a good problem though.

I think up until about 18 months ago Load 1 was the great unknown..then they contracted to a bunch of goofs that after seeing the numbers in black and white realized that the idea of "Running Less, and Making More" was real and could be acheived here. That group has done well and has brought others along as they got the word out.
I am not going to tell anyone how to run their business, we all know what we need as individuals to make things work.As was pointed out, 2 weeks don't make a quarter and a quarter doesn't make a yr. The big picture is that we are ALL part of a carrier that is fairly new to expediting and is growing and doing a great job of it. We are at the ground floor here as the management team works to build this deal and it is only getting better. Yes there are times when it is slow for the industry, and that can mean maybe a big slow down for us because we are still not the "top dog" (but i believe we are fastly becoming the "industry standard when it comes to O/O, Driver, Management , and Customer relations) But in the big picture of a yr, all those that want to make it here will....The key as in as business as a owner, is to set yourself up right from the get go..have a cushion for those slow times and put a few extra bucks away when you are knocking down the bigger buck then when you are slow....
Hang in Cuzzz, its March, we will see a "uptick" this month and you will start to ask for time to sleep.....
