Good morning fromthe "J" @ Carlisle Pa....Well the "$.10 tour of the Cargo Max has taken a turn...most all know this i a big layover for "Tri-State" cv's....there are normally 4-5 hereat any given time time...this morning 4 of them asked for the tour...1 guy got out a old 35 mm minolta camara and shot up a roll of film....another lady vanner asked me for a complete list of what was needed to install the house bank and how much i would charge her to do it...she even offered to pay me a days layover to do it if i missed a load!!! LOL. I wrote up the list gave it to her and told her to call me in the future and if we were anywhere close on a weekend, id do it for her and she could buy lunch and dinner...
So, 2 cups of coffee down, 2 pop tarts and a text conversation with Cuz and i am ready for a load....After a slow start last week, the week finished good and for that i am thankful.
On the Cargo Max, March 25th was a yr it had been in service....It had 2011 miles when i left on the 1st load..it had right at 102,170 the 25th.....if all of those miles were paid, which we all know they aren't, but if they were, they would have been paid at over $1.00 a mile.....So taking out the personal miles and all the unpaid empty moves and the just cruisin around miles and you can see that for me personlly, this was a pretty good investment...Thanks Load 1 for finding the type of loads that made this purchase worthwhile....!!!!
