I have not. Nor will I. Have a cabin in the woods that is paid for. The wife told me she's not living down there. Well, have a good life.
Nice 750 mile run today. Unloaded 11 1/2 hours early. At the truck stop for some sleep.

Been in a light snow/rain since Joplin headed east.....headed home for a del on monday.
Must be a brand new Walmart. Maybe that's why they rousted him. With the TA truck stop right there I would think they would be used to seeing expediters in vans.
sometimes a plain white van still gets attention....I think it helps I have number decals on and my name and city on the side doors....but every once and awhile even at friendly Walmart I get roused up....and asked...What you doing here?....They have a job to do and I am glad they or the Walmart employees are attentive as all citizens should be, to keep this country safe...
My last carrier we sat so long at times my tires had a flatside and rotors rusted over....LOL
BTW...I use the SuperTarget store across the way....walking distance to the Super America station...

Coming from Kentucky it's both. I prefer coming from Columbus on the Ohio side as its looks nicer.
Detroit has a nice skyline.....just don't look any lower then the horizon tho.....LOL
Parked at Walmart on west side of I-65 loop in Indy about 12.15 am ..... went to bed and then the phone rang ... have a load for you ... picks up ASAP in Indy going direct to KC .... i said Sorry i am in bed ... you DH me after 7 pm to relocate to Indy ..... and its 12.45 am and i am tired and its unsafe for me to attempt that drive on no sleep .... but thanks for the call ..... then that 10 seconds of Silence and responce of " So your too tired " ...... ( me ) at 12.45 AM ....YES .... lolFinishing up my paid 300 mile dh to Indy tonight ....

Lol .... No ...you better have a Good Reason for turning down a load ..... they know i run the miles and i think i shocked them .... but i am not a sit during the day and start a load after midnight type of driver ...

Well i can force my body to do it once in awhile .... but once they get you in that pattern .. dispatchers exspect it all the time .... also being up most of day (expeditors nap involved ) and driving late night and delivering in AM.. and sleeping during next day .. you get in the pattern of 1 load in 2 days ... i am a 5 to 6 loads in 7 days type of guy around 2,500 to 3,000 paid miles .... why cut your available miles in half to run the after mid-night garbage ... doesn't work for me ...

I agree! I have never been questioned at a Walmart. If I pull in during the night I will move to a different parking spot by mid morning and move again by evening if I'm still there.
Is that a good penny finding route? The first time we met was at the TA. Our 15 year anniversary of that meeting is coming up soon. I'll send you a box of pennies.
