Are rates really that bad coming from Laredo? I'm still new (been doing it under a month)

Yes they are. This one pays .60 mi going out (they tried to get me to it at .55 but said no) and .88 mi to come in. Straights are getting .75 mi in El Paso. Also heard about one of our drivers was sitting in El Paso for 168 hrs. before giving in to .55 mi to get out.

.88 cpm to go down there seems bad imo. Probably won't go down there unless it's over a mile. Just picked up in Tipp city,OH should be in Alabama by 12!

Sitting here now, had 2 or 3 calls for runs but my dispatch keeps losin the poker hands. We have a customer up here w/ regular runs to Ohio said he was hoping to have a run this afternoon goin back to Ohio, well its 324pm now, dunno when to stop crossing my fingers for that one, lol

I just stated in another thread that IMO there are too many straights out here.

I gave up drove to just over the GW to get the one I'm on now that sucked but at least it was a decent one getting to ct. Took a lot of time off my life cycle! Kinda like this 400 miles delivers Monday then I'm going home to see my dog!

Made my drop in Louisville and now being unloaded in west Chester. After this it's back to Erlanger for a drop and hook. Then to Lawrenceburg Indiana for a drop and hook. Then head as close to home as possible

I was just there last weekend. My first time. The city looks absolutely beautiful sitting on the banks of the Ohio coming in on 71..or is it 75? Either way, great skyline.
