Ever wake up thinking you had enough sleep? Got up made coffee had my oatmeal ... Hit the road 1/2 hr down that road "yawn" pulled over got 3/4 hr power nap in front seat... Feeling like a champ now....

So got to the consignee last night at about 1am. I got back into my spot at 8:20 now I'm unloaded waiting for my 10hr break to over then hopefully a load directly home so the terminal can fix my truck then hopefully she's good to go for awhile
Tough break, by the way I have to say the tighter the spots that some places have I have an even more respect for lol. Some of the places I've seen can barely fit a straight into much less a 53 footer.....
Delivered to consignee early this morning... They were waiting on the dock for us when we arrived... Thanked us several times for being a team and driving all nite so we could get the parts they needed there early for them... Happy, Happy, Happy...
Now waiting on Murray's Magic 8 Ball to cough up a nice long weekend load... CRE, CRE, CRE, CRE...

The rare time when rush rush means something I seldom see that , usually it's rush rush and when yA get there your fretted with a wtf is this stuff oh well we'll just stick it in the corner!

Nope Mr. Panther called and the convo went like this....
Panther dispatch : We have a problem with your current load.
Me: ummm ok what's up, I started rolling btw
Panther : Well someone over at ABF screwed up and the load your on was offered and accepted by an otger truck. ABF took them off of it and offered to you.
Me: Ummmm ok I'm rolling now and waited to see if load was ready early, that was 3 hrs ago and I'm halfway there....Sorry I don't see a problem.
Panther : Well seeing since first truck accepted there getting a load.
Me: Oh I see where there is a problem now
Panther : Seeing there a team and they accepted there getting the load. However we have a perfect run for you its 290 miles and going to Ford!
Wasn't that simple or quick argued close to a hour and it still ended up with me not getting that 1000 mile run.......
Did they pay you for the miles you drove?
