The Author of this thread say's "He read it somewhere" Anyone know where he read it?.

This is the author of this thread. Go back to the beginning and read it again. It say's HEARD. No big deal, picked up on some big time trucker talking in a truck stop about C/V for such and such will have to start logging. I'm not going to say the name I heard because I found out later they are not doing that nor do they plan too.
So with that and me being curious to know if anyone HEARD this rumor I posted it. The difference's in the way drivers have interpreted it is amazing.:D:D:Dlol.

From Post #10
Ontario man is right I read it and heard it from a couple of drivers.

Let's recap, shall we? :D

OVM noted the key wording here:
I have heard...

Pretty much sums it up..
Then you stated flatly:
There are a couple of company's starting this, I would like to know who and if it's going to be a industry thing or not.

Dynamite 1 pressed further with:
what companies that that you know of are doing this. you mentioned there are a couple. state who they are.

OVM responded to Dynamite 1
He does not know...he HEARD....key word there..heard
Although I suspect OVM is giving the benefit of the doubt as to whether it was, in fact, actually heard.

And now we're back to this:

I have a feeling the first time anyone heard this was when someone read your original post out loud to someone else. The last line certainly makes it appear that you are quite pleased with the results of your efforts.

I'M SO SORRY.. But to look at it on the positive side, it did give you something else to do.

Is everybody happy?:D:D

Ok so a company lets it CV drivers run 12-14 hours straight to run 806 mile straight through...now they make them log...are they going to have them log the 14 hours straight that they drove or are they going to follow the rules and cut back on what they have the CV driver run so to be within the rules???

Unless there has been an insurance issue, I don't see it happening...just more TS driver chatter....
Logging or not , CMV's not over 10,000 lbs. are still exempt from FMCSR unless they are hauling hazmat . They can drive 15 hours a day , 80 hours a week , logging it as on duty , not driving .
