Now that was just mean...LOL. Looking to protect the carrier is what I am saying. I hate regulations that restrict income but I will follow the rules for my safety and a carriers financial back.

You are used to being restricted and have adjusted accordingly...

Quite a few CV'ers could not make it if they couldn't cut corners and be able to drive like a banshee....those are the ones that should NOT be in this biz....

Ok so a company lets it CV drivers run 12-14 hours straight to run 806 mile straight through...now they make them log...are they going to have them log the 14 hours straight that they drove or are they going to follow the rules and cut back on what they have the CV driver run so to be within the rules???

Unless there has been an insurance issue, I don't see it happening...just more TS driver chatter....

It would be the same as the solo straight...the premium would be on team vans...

But it is just chatter for now...

TS BS usually does just that....but its not something that isn't brought up from time to time, mostly from people that hate the fact that CV's are not considered CMV's by the Feds and are not regulated as such and don't have to follow the same rules that those that are regulated do.....they feel a need to "pizz" on the CV parade....

I think I'd better get some sleep, my head's starting to hurt.:D:)
Better yet, take 2 Excedrin and join the Ban The Van movement. If we can rid the world of vans our troubles will be over. A chicken in every pot and a van in every pothole.

I go to the Outback and California Dreamin and I drive a C/V. I do as well as I did when I had D units and a whole lot less overhead.
