LOL! Some people are hard to figure out.
As far as my questions getting answered, I am clear now on load1's hot areas, but still want more input from teams who are with them.

I am not saying we don't get loads outside them lines...Wi and Mn is very good to me...that SEEMS to be our cha $$ching $$ area....IMO

Michigan and Wisconsin have a lot of Case New Holland loads. Then you have Oshkosh Corporation and loads that go to JLG in Mechanicsburg PA from Wisconsin. There are a lot of automotive suppliers in the Twin Cities area. There is a John Deere plant in Gwinner ND. There are automotive suppliers in Fon Du Lac Wisconsin, all the way up past Milwaukee. You just have to know where the loads are at.

This job really isn't gambling in the way of knowing what cities and facilities these loads will come out of. It is only a gamble as to when the loads will come out of these particular cities and facilities. There is a facility in Springdale Arkansas that has loads going back to Chrysler in Detroit. There is a place in Grenada Mississippi that has loads going back to Chrysler in Detroit.

Heck, there is a shipper in Redondo Beach California that has loads going up to El Paso almost every week. You have loads that originate in San Diego California that go to Smyrna Tennessee to Nissan. I have picked up loads in Calexico that have gone all the way up to Milan Michigan to Ford. I have picked up loads in Vista California that have taken me all the way to Detroit. I have picked up loads in Simi Valley California that went down to Laredo. You just have to be familiar with what load boards and customers your company works with and then relocate accordingly!

Thanks for your wealth of info on what cities the loads are in. I am taking notes of this info.

There are loads in a lot of weird places like the CSX train terminal in Waycross Georgia. Who would have ever thought loads come out of rural Georgia? You have Raytheon Missile Systems in Farmington New Mexico. You will learn the areas that Load One gets loads from and adapt your business accordingly. I've never worked for Load One personally, but they seem like a very good company to work for. I wish you good luck when you go to work for them.

You would likely be best served by calling their recruiting department and request some names of teams you can call. When a prospective team calls me for a position, I volunteer very little initially..
Anyone can baffle someone with a bunch of BS. I give them numbers to current and past teams.
My best advertisement are those folks and from there they can make a realistic assessment as to whether we are the right fit for them.
As mentioned, I would make sure you are talking to someone with the experience of the vehicle you wish to drive. A tractor trailor driver is going to look at things and areas much different than say a van driver.

You could be right as I just finished reading though the load1 carrier section of the forum and I don't see too many people complaining.
