Anyone heard from Guido?

I'm here...Sat in Laredo for like 9 days, empty moved to Little Rock,Got one from Benton,to Pittsfield,Ill,Went to Pontoon Beach, waited there, now on a empty move to the Chicago area..I need freight!!!! I know they are doing everything they can do, and this excessive sitting is not their fault, just the way the cards are falling, but they better start falling a little differently pretty soon!! lol...But I will tell you this, no other company that I have been with has never communicated with me by phone as much as Load One has. They have kept me informed as to what is going on,and we actually discussed and worked together for the best solution as how to make things work through this time of excessive stupidity lowbidding from other companies.Every other company I have been with would of just let me sit and wonder,no matter how long.

In addition to what I have already have said, my numbers for December were real impressive...$1.09 avg pay per all loaded miles,.82 cpm per all miles, loaded and empty combined..Awesome! Yes, there was alot of sitting involved for that month, 14 days to be exact, but if you look at it the way I do, that is close to $6,000 for 2 weeks worth of work, also, so not bad..And the warm weather in Laredo made it difficult for me to leave, as well,so I may of had something to do with that...

Sorry to hear this. I've been in your position before (torn rotator cuff). I haven't met you as yet, so I don't know if you are a solo or a team.

If you're a solo and your truck is going to be idle, have you considered putting a driver in it while you're off? I'm sure Brian could find one for you, and you'd at least have some revenue coming in. That's what I did and it worked out. Something to consider if you haven't already.

In any case, if there is anything I can do to help just let me know through a PM here, or through Brian.

Yep, I am solo. Gonna call Brian Mon. Truck is in Baltimore. Hate to put someone in it I don't know, but I have been thinking about doing that and buying a sprinter for myself.

That's for all your well wishes. Please be safe. One eye on the road, one eye on the weather. I'm sure you all already know that since you all are a great bunch and pros at what you do.

Sorry to hear that golfournut...hey...I got a job you can do...the boys seems to want some quilts made..*l*..

Chef and Guido...'fraid you're going to have to wait till spring cuz the minute I put the material down on the floor for cutting and stuffing the cats seem to think I'm doing it all for them. As soon as the weather breaks and I can kick them out I might give it a shot.

84" long? wow...do you cover your face when you sleep? Or is that for tucking under your feet? Most flannels come in a 40" width so a 57" would take twice as much material. I do the binding in the same material so I'm guessing about 11 yards plus the batting.

Now if you'd like to pick your own flannel...check these out...keep in mind the price is per yard. + the fabric adhesive and thread and needles because I do break them when I do the quilting...and I am NOT a pro but they will be warm.
