Don't use comdata...you get a fuel card to use, they take back whatever you use on your next settlement , no charge....QC cost $30 bucks for the unit and the scanner, an addiontional $2.50 for the GPS and it is a truck routing unit. Thats it no more fee's....

Load 1 has its own shower program with Pilot / J...1 full Shower credit for a every 15 gallon purchases , good for 5 days...

Well Greg the fleet has answered all of the questions right on the money!

But to recap:

No transaction fee on Fleet One card.
Qcomm fee is $30 per week.
Naviagation upgrade option for $2.50 per week.

Units start at 67%, after 90 days if owner op wants they can request large logo program. If we think they are a good long term fit for the company and the equipment looks good we pay for the large logos (hood optional) and raise the percentage to 70%. It is a voluntary program.

Missed one! Our contract states that we will calculate, file and charge for fuel tax.

But over the last 8 years we have paid our owner operators fuel tax as kind of an unofficial bonus in spite of the contract.

Oh and i know in a CV / Sprinter, they reimburse ALL tolls, as long as you can can show what trips they are for, and you don't have to ask its part of the deal...they do it....just turn in the paper work correctly filled out...then there is the paid layover also for up to 2 days.....

BUT, more important is the Guy the runs the show actually makes an effort to make sure things are as stated, he knows who you are and is available to you..in the building, on the phone or a PM here...he even eats hot dogs at the same place the O/O's and company drivers eat at when they are at the terminal....:D

I think Load1 giving 3% more for signs is VERY VERY GOOD. When I started at Roberts Express we only got .5% more for signs. Which wasn't really alot. Over all I think Load1 has one of the best CEO's in the business and John really cares about his Employees and owner operators. John Elliott reminds me alot of Bruce Simpson who was the CEO for Roberts Express for over 20 plus years. Keep up the GREAT work John.

Ok this all sounds great or I'm dreaming.

So let me ask these questions;

Say I get a sprinter, not one of them 2500 that can't take much but a 3500 that has maybe 3500 lbs of payload, will Load-1 keep it running before those OVM style lightweights?

What else don't you charge for?

What do you charge for?

Do you give hats away when you join up?

Why not white castles?

John..I think people are grappling with the fact Load -1 has NO fees to get their own money....

It is CRAZY. We don't even advertise no fees. I really love the companies that charge a paperwork fee and a fee to get paid. Why not just put a coin slot on the bathroom! LOL

I guess they take their lead from the airlines.

Greg, you should just come up to Livonia. Just sitting here at a restaurant eating lunch and doing some work.

Thanks for the invite, waiting for the wife to finish her stuff so we can head to garden city and clean out the rest of the in-laws house.

Seriously though, I am asking for someone else who I keep telling needs to do her own posting but because I get free dinners at my favorite place, I do her posting for her.

Why not white castles?

We here at Load-1 are paid to well to eat White Castles. We tend to be a little more lavish and prefer our Coney's........lol

Greg,

Really there are no hidden fees or costs. 30.00 as mentioned for qualcom. Your typical workmans comp. Your vehicle insurance, thats it. No fuel card fees, no direct deposit fees. tolls are paid back. You work you get paid its that simple. 67% or 70% for the sign program.
