Getting a certain amount of press has nothing to do with the emotion. He could have said the same thing minus the one word and because he is the living emotion of the statement would have conveyed the same emotion. I can't provide quantifiable scientific proof just as you can't therefore I am every bit as correct as you.

Doubtful it would have got the coverage it did. To insinuate he didn't know another word is another word i can't think of to convey my emotion on it.

IF Ortiz is the guy I am thinking of, I don't watch utube stuff, eats up too much of my plan time, his English is not all that good, he may not know another word. IF I remember, and I may be wrong, English is not is first language.

Newp. You said it yourself, "Words are a tool to convey thoughts and information." When you remove one of those tools to convey the emotion, the missing emotion isn't conveyed. It may very well be felt, but the same emotion cannot be conveyed in the absence of being able to convey it by the omission of a word specifically used to convey the emotion. I'm not asking for quantifiable scientific proof, I'm asking you to put up or shut up regarding your assertion that "it is absolutely possible to have equal emotion" using different words. Since it's impossible for you to do so, I'll be more than satisfied if you can rewrite the speech using different words to convey even a similar level of emotion. You have to first understand the emotion conveyed, and I don't think you do.

His English is just fine. He's originally from the Dominican Republic and has a thick Spanish accent, but he knows, understands and speaks English very confidently. He is a permanent resident of Boston, and is a US citizen. He knows all the words.

Red Skelton was one of the greatest talents of all time. He did at rare times say **** or hell in his live act but those were few and far between and not nearly as harsh as the f word.
According to Arthur Marx - son of Groucho and author of the book "Red Skelton" - Red actually enjoyed profanity and dirty jokes ... albeit privately ...

Wrong guy then. Like I said, I don't watch Ytube stuff when using my Jetpack account. Carry on.

It does have much to do with the impact the message makes.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a dang.

There are some incredibly sane points made in that video.

Indeed ...

One should never confuse what is actually sane with what will pass for "proper" and "acceptable" in (so-called) normal society ....

There's another board? Imagine that ......

If you refer to Travels board .... that is a waste of bandwidth ..... profanity does not impress me. I'm no prude, and am often guilty of it. But I can clearly express myself without mastering the art.

I am not A fan of profanity but I do like Doug Travels he's A nice guy just misunderstood and what I like about his sight Expedite Insight is that there are no clicks like this one has.

I don't really see the cliques, anyone can get into any conversation they chose and express their opinion.

Another comic known to work very clean is Cosby. Maybe an "H" or "D" word, but that's about it. He did a bit about cocaine. He asked someone what they liked about it. They said something like, "it accentuates your personality." He said, "O.K. But, what if your an azzhole?" Now, it still would have gotten a laugh if he said "moron" instead, I suppose. But that word clearly gave it a boost. IMHO, of course.

(Mods, I'll take my slap on the wrist like a man, but I thought the context would make it O.K.)

Not to put too fine a point on it, but saying EI doesn't have any cliques like EO has is like saying PilotFlyingJ cares about its customers, or that Obama is concerned about preserving your Constitutional rights.

I like Doug also and hope to run into him someday. You should look up the definition of the word "clique". Expedite Insight was founded by a clique that had something in common, being banned from E.O.

Doug is the greatest, especially if you want lies spread about you on the internet and elsewhere calling you homosexual and other things you are not. Great guy. Just the kind of guy you want to be friends with.

Hey, what do I know? I'm friends with you and you advocate killing members of congress. I'm friends with many people that I don't necessarily agree with or condone some of their actions.

Getting back to the "F" word, it is after all a word. Just a word, but a very versatile word. In modern use its forms include a verb, noun, adverb and adjective. Why is using the term "F" word, f*ck, phuc, freak, fück or any other variation any less offensive than just saying or spelling the word as is? Same goes for people who use a$$ etc. to get around the E.O. Auto Censor Nazi. What is more crass, offensive and overly descriptive; steaming pile of feces or shït?

Oops, guess I'll be joining Doug's clique after this post.
