Is it legal for an expedite company to make you an offer to take a load and two days after you deliver, take it away from you?
If it is illegal, PANTHER EXPEDITE are crimminals!
We strongly advise anyone thinking about working for this company to contact us about it and let us explain and show you in B & W what kind of "LOW-LIFES" they are!

They didn't ake the load, but they took away the MONEY they offered us to pay us for taking them!
Kinda hard to go back & get the loads and return them!

Can you document all of this? If you can, then it occurs to me that Panther could be in a world of legal hurt before everything is said and done.

Take it through the proper channels at Panther. Document everything. Times dates and the name of the person you talked with and what they told you. Keep copies of your BOL's. Remain professional, calm and courteous.
If that doesn't work find a good lawyer.

We were offered .40 a mile dead head for 333 miles, $233.10 Empty Move and a $75.00 Layover pay for driving to Iowa from Missouri to pick up a load and take it to Illinois and then pick up a load in Illinios and take it to Alabama. They told us we'd get the Empty move number when we unloaded the 2nd load...which we did.
Then, 2 days later, they send a message saying they were NOT going to pay us the Empty Move.
When we asked "Why"?, they claimed it was a dispatcher error and it was illegal to do because it would take away from the truck owner.
They made the deal...then took it away AFTER we done what we agreed to do!
Don't know how to explain it any clearer!

Your story has a lot of holes in it. I been with Panther for three years and NEVER had a problem like your saying. To much is missing from your story. Did you pickup and deliver this load? Was this a load that you was pre-dispatch that the customer cancelled? Was you late on the delivery? So many things are not being said.

So your saying they are not paying you for an empty move not the loads. Just call Jeff Garra and his staff and they will pull the phone calls and Jeff will make sure your paid for the empty moves.

No holes in this story!
We have photos of the QC messages and they will be turned over to an attorney to be figured out!

Before you talk to an attorney take it as high up to panther as you can. If they don't do anything then talk to an attorney.

So you did the loads are being paid for the loads just not the empty move? I think you should post that it's the empty moves your saying your not getting paid for, not the loads.

Well, you should have called driver relations before posting something like this in a open forum saying that Panther is crooks. I take it you will be looking for a new company to drive for since you think Panther is so BAD. This seems like a drive by poster.

This is Expediters Online, not Whine.com.
From the Code of Conduct which you agrees to in order to sign on here:

6. Drive by posting (DBP) is prohibited.
A drive by posting (DBP)is when a new or newer member who has a personal issue or dispute with a carrier, dealer, manufacturer, fleet owner, fleet driver or any other entity and makes their first post as a negative attack or public scathing. Posts of this nature are disruptive and serve no purpose and subject to immediate removal. New members are required to have a minimum of ten (10) posts before they can make a controversial post on any topic.
It took 5 posts to get any meaningful details out of you, and there's still holes in the story. Yes, holes. Unless you can vomit up some more details that are pertinent to members of EO, then this is nothing more than a personal issue between you and Panther, and EO doesn't have anything to do with it. We don't care. Do you have any idea how many posts we've read from people whining about this or that, calling their carrier or owner crooks and thieves, only to eventually get all the details that end up proving that they don't know what they are doing, or don't understand what is happening, or misunderstood what they were told, and that in the end nothing was improperly done at all on the part of the carrier or owner? This thread has all the makings of just another one of those posts.
