Let me get this straight. I'm not offended or outraged at any comments. I just appreciate when someone says something they mean and then they stand behind it if that's what they believe. I just argued the point. I agree with Turtle and Bama. People ARE too thin skinned. Nobody should take down Rich M's or anybody's post if it's their opinion and (it's not a slanderous lie or something like yelling fire in a crowded theater). That's what I loved about living in the South and why I generally respect Southerners more than anyone, and why I will retire down there some day.) They have guts and say what they think more often than not. It's not like that where I grew up in the Northeast or out on the West Coast. There is a lot of the phony smiles, handshakes, we all like each other b.s. when they don't really. When I lived in Louisiana and Mississippi, if they don't like you they let you know. I got along fine down there and still have a lot of friends, because I appreciate that. It's drives me nuts when people deny what they say because of, what I agree, is an offending double standard
