Headed south...nice load. Thanks LoadOne! My week was looking pretty dismal. The rate isnt that great, but the % was high which tells me somebody likely got pretty aggressive to get me moving. Thanks!...that is what makes us all appreciate LoadOne.
Also, after some math, its looking like my per mile rate will be a little low of my target, but not bad at all considering the amount of empty miles this week. Thats with the layover and empty move pay included. For me, the final per mile rate is all I concern myself with. The little extras helped to redeem that.

Morning all from Tucson. Hotter the heck here also. Got one outta of the house to nogales. Only to have to go in the shop again. Gotta stop this trend. Last three times out her this has happened. Think we are jinxed. Nothing to serious, abs problem caused by a wheel bearing. Also taking care of two recalls on the truck while they got it. Low and high pressure fuel lines. Be done this afternoon then we will beat feet to el paso and prey the weekend crew can hit a homerun for us. Sure they will manage something. They usually do. Well time to go have the truck blessed or something to break the Arizona spell. LOL. Hope things pick up for you all.

Well the week started good on Tue, 3 runs back to back, short but they paid real good...Emptied out in Knoxville and am now close to 48 hrs empty and available....But its all good...if nothing comes my way yet today, its lookin like a DH a bit further south and west to a fav location for dinner and karaoke this weekend!!!! 
$3.16 for diesel at duty free.

Now at Sterling Heights Dodge for a LOF from the friendly folks here, then headed home. Having a family get together tomorrow for my twin grand daughters 1st B-day.. was actually last week, but not all could come, so rented a shelter house at the park, bouncy house all that stuff. (No, I'm not going in it LOL)..
Then Sunday, my daughter gets Ordained
Lil proud of her.. been a long journey. 5 years college, 2 degrees, internship, etc... now this final step.. which is actually a beginning. Good kid.. looking forward to seeing where she ends up.Dale
