got a load out to marshall il(see photo in layover loonge) now at the effin j in effin ham. i'm inside. anyone around?

rlent.....went to carlsbad on a driving honeymoon(the first one) and we walked thru the chambers and were just in awe of the formations and the fact that the rooms could house the john han**** or sears tower underground!

if any of you Expeditors stuck in one of the TA's , you are more then welcome to come and visit , free showers ,laundry , ext. ...(just send me a PM)
then see if they can get me a load back to Minnesota , if not ,then i will be heading back to the East coast.

I met Piper1 today near Gary, Indiana. What a tremendously nice fellow. Chatted for a couple hours. Had lunch and exchanged ideas. Make a point to acquaint yourself with Piper.

We pick up a load tomorrow morning in Virginia Beach that delivers Thurs afternoon in Wisconsin. If we haven't gotten a load towards home from there by Fri morning, we will be deadheading home for our week's vacation. We were really hoping for a load closer to home, but at least Wisconsin puts us 300 miles closer than we are in Virginia. I can't wait to start my vacation!! :D

Flying J on 465 in Indy for part of the night, then back to Toronto tomorrow for Thurs del (holiday in Canada tomorrow folks!).

As noted above, got to meet aristotle today and yap about things. It is great to meet people in person and really find out who they are. Mr A is definitely one of the good guys!! Hope you get a good load out!! So that puts my EO count up to 6!

Couple of other folks here including a Sprinter from Prestige with a very interesting roof mount generator (or A/C?), either way it has an exhaust pipe!

That is what I hear. I have been looking for his vehicle around, but did not get a chance to meet him yet. Still trying..

I had a busy couple of days. I had a pickup in Coldwater MI, to deliver to Chicago. Then I had a pickup in Chicago to deliver to Memphis Tennesee. Then back to Fort Wayne, IN
I passed a black Express one truck on 69 around Gas City, it was an older flat windshield international with Michigan plates
Anyone we know?

Also I filled up at the TA in Effingham, IL for 2.86 a gallon, then down in Tennessee it was 2.49

Please, dont you all get jealous, but I am at the awesome, first-class, driver-freindly, super-clean,Madco truckstop in Romulus, MI.Got a load from western PA to Cory, MI. Not much happening up there, went and looked at some campers, then came down here.Not one cargo van here....Where is everyone hiding? Was offered several loads, accepeted all, but none of these happenened.

Went back into service 6/29. Made 2 small runs from Toledo area to north of Detroit. Spent the night at home, got a call this morning for a pickup in Richfield Oh and drop in Belcamp Maryland. I am sitting in dock now, goin to bed so i can deliver 1st thing in the morning since there is no 3rd shift recieving....

You came back too soon. Now I'm stuck in LA. Can't complain though. Got a load from Livermore down to Santa Barbara, so I'm not just sitting over on this coast.

This last load was 104 genetically inspected, male lab mice. If anyone gets a load like this and you drive a van, try your darndest to be able to deliver direct. They smell bad and are especially active and noisy when it gets dark and quiet. Like when it's time to go to bed.
