Back in service after the long weekend off...Still at home cooking for a few more hours to stock up the van frig for the next 2 weeks.

7th out within 100 miles, so after the food is cooked and the frig stocked, i'll be DH'in towards Chicago to find freight and a run....no reason to stir home waiting.....got to go find it freight..:D

Went out of service for the weekend to redo my bunk so I can fit 3 pallets. I now have a movable bulkhead. Not perfect but functional, I am sure as I am driving I will come up with some ideas to improve it. I wanted to keep the bulkhead so there is less area to heat or cool and for the noise factor.

The way it is now I can fold my bunk down basically in half and roll my bulkhead forward when I need to get three skids on. Gives me a skinnier sleeping place but will only be needed for a few hours at a time on longer loads and much better than trying to nap in the drivers seat. Anytime I have two or less skids I can keep the bulkhead in the rear position and have my normal bunk space. Also removed the passenger seat so I have some more space for the cooler etc.

Left Toledo to DH to the Chicago area yesterday. As usual dispatch called before I got there. A shorty but the pay was good. PU Delta deliver to Del to Delphos, then finished the DH to the "J" in Gary.....spent the night and woke up 1st out..so hopefully I won't be here too much long...but the rain storm was nice last night...made for a good night of sleeping...
