Over here in oak grove hoping fer another load tomarrow.Changed a rear tire that seemed to be hopping, and it took care of 90% of the problem. I think I need to have the driveshaft balanced from when I changed the u-joints this past weekend as a preventative maintenance measure.I mean, how long can one expect u-joints from the factory to last with no grease fittings? 260,000 on the originals showing signs of wear in the needle bearings.Replaced the front wheel bearings as well, amonst alot of other parts that seemed to look like they might of needed replacing.Pretty much ran the van for 80,000 miles with only a $200.00 repair so far up to this point.Tires are next.

Depends on how long your companey leaves you sitting in texas!

Define "how long is"? Some are under the impression that there should be a load almost right away...within 24 hrs...That is a wrong assumption...

I've had some say to me.."I've been here for 2 days....my carrier stinks..." or "I am so disappointed they didn't move me" Really?

What a day:mad: I got a load to VT last night. Nothing was moving in the VT area and the closest board to me was the boston board. So with two vans sittin there already, I headed down to the Newburgh, NY board. 0 vans 1/day avg. So I get to the rest stop on the NY thruway and fell flat on my face. Of course there were a lot of people there. LOL so now I'm dealing with scraped hand and two scraped Knees which sucks and I had to take a load going from Allentown, PA to Marcy, NY at the walmart dist center. so here I am on I81 I went to order a pizza and the flying j is out of pizza crust. the guy b4 me gets the last one, so I am here....scraped up and fuming.....sort of. At least I finally was able to get a shower. Only 1008 miles this week, so not a lot to show for it either, and I'll prob be stuck deadheading to buffalo to get a load as long as there aren't 5 or 6 vans sitttin there too. Hope everyone's day has been better than mine...LOL

life is too short to eat flying j pizza.......course its far better than microwaved uno's pizza on the wv turnpike.
How true....I seen that wv turnpike pizza...looked kinda nasty. But what choices do you have when they deliberitely put the flying J's in the middle of nowhere and since panther counts it against my drive time to go anywhere just like a truck driver. LOL Now I'm sittin at the J near buffalo.
